A day of cleaning and cleansing

First the cleaning: laundry

I picked a laundromat at Cooper’s Beach, Doubtless Bay, only to find all nine washing machines to say “sorry, I’m out of order”. Dryers alone were no good for me, so I had to go to the next laundromat, where I was able to do the laundry but didn’t have such a nice view of the bay during waiting time.

Then the cleansing at Ngawha Springs

The hot water is rich in minerals and is said to have healing, rejuvenating powers. It was a soothing experience for body and soul, after which I, once again, could rely on Eri & Igi’s hospitality for the night. Eri cooked stuffed bell peppers, polenta, and a mixed garden salad for dinner. Yummy!
