Seasonal Shopping

The plan was, first and foremost, to get over the worst of the jet lag in a couple of days. Thus, other than going shopping at MEC for proper rain gear, at saveOn’s for groceries, and at the Park Royal Mall for warmer clothing, I enjoyed Sue and Jon’s generous hospitality.

Tasting Delights

Besides going shopping, the undisputed highlight was dinner on Saturday evening, at the Pan-Asian restaurant PiDGiN (https://www.pidginvancouver.com/) in downtown Vancouver. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me, taste tickles and explosions of the sort I have never seen before. Thank you, Jon, for taking us both there!
